BHC ENGAGES STAKEHOLDERS IN TSABONG TO MARKET THE PROPOSED PROJECT

In an effort to roll out an aggressive Marketing strategy, all proposed projects will be marketed and promoted even before they could start. It is against this background that a Sales and Marketing team visited Tsabong to Market and solicit some feedback from the Kgalagadi District Headquarters on the proposed Tsabong 100 project. The Target Marketing exercise targeted Government departments, Local Government, Parastatals and some big Corporates.

The engagement with the target Corporate Customers revealed some demand for residential accommodation in Tsabong. The demand is mainly skewed towards the corporate market. It is further observed that the available demand is inclined towards the rental market as more corporates preferred the rental option over outright sales. The other striking finding is that Tsabong comes out as a transitional place, where most residents are there for work purposes with very few natives especially within the workforce.

It was established that rentals range from P1000 to P3000 in the local market and that all Government houses are air conditioned. It is was discovered that due to extreme weather conditions, air conditioners are a requirement for all Government housing units including those rented from private individuals.
