BHC GRACES MAKGADIKGADI EPIC

The Corporation was among other corporates that attended the annual Makgadikgadi Epic which was from 12 to 14th of July.
The objective of this year’s attendance was to educate Batswana about the Corporation’s mandate, products and services.
This year’s Epic was officially opened by His Excellency the President of Botswana Dr Eric Mokgweetsi Masisi. Addressing the media President Masisi said government as the custodian of the tourism industry, had set a target of being the best in order to attract and retain tourists from around the world.
He said that the focus would be on events such as the epic to continue attracting more foreign participants and skydivers from among others Europe and United States of America as it gives Botswana ample opportunity to attract much-needed investors to invest in different sectors locally.
He said government was working tirelessly to ensure that it brought as many investors as possible to inject investment in the economy hence boosting the different sectors, which would in return make attractive returns. (Botswana Daily News)
The Makgadikgadi Epic is an event organized by Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) in collaboration with the Sowa Township. The event includes Sky Diving, Tandem Jumps, Fun Quad Biking, Horse Riding and Camping.
