BHC Continues to Alleviate Shortage of Accomodation

This morning, the Corporation handed over a total of 2 housing units to Kgalagadi Land Board Speaking at the handover ceremony, Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr Batanani Nkhumisang said the 2 units are part of the (13) housing units developed in Tsabong specifically to alleviate the area's accommodation shortage.

"As BHC's direct input towards Government driven Citizen Economic Empowerment initiative, the project was unbundled into 3 contracts and therefore allocated to three (3) local contractors," emphasized Nkhumisang.

He further highlighted that the handover of the units marks a significant step towards enhancing the lives and working environment of those who play a critical role in the development of our rural communities.
Mr. Nkhumisang assured the gathering that the housing units will provide comfortable and secure living space to the Land Board officers. He shared that there is an ongoing development comprising of 10 housing units which are near completion, and that the construction of an additional 23 housing units has also commenced in the same area.

In conclusion, he thanked Kgalagadi Land Board for allocating land to the Corporation as the land will not only benefit BHC as a prime development site in Tsabong but will go a long way to contribute to the development of the Village.

For his part, Kgalagadi Land Board chairman Reverend Sylvester Tselaesele appreciated the great job that BHC is doing for the Country, he said BHC has uplifted the living standard of some villages.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the rate at which BHC is developing in Tsabong, as the Land Board Chairman, he was going to call the Estate a name that will denote something about the services of the Corporation in the village.

"Two (2) of the Kgalagadi Land Board employees from today, they will have a decent accommodation, Reverend Tselaesele delightfully said."

In conclusion, he stated that as Kgalagadi Land Board, they consider themselves lucky as there is a serious shortage of accommodation, and the 2 units will make a huge difference and to their accommodation shortage and go a long way to make their employees feel at home away from home.
