Welcome to the official website of the Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC).

It is a privilege to lead the Corporation at a defining moment in our history as we embark on the BHC 2025 - 2030 Strategy, a bold and transformative roadmap that positions BHC as a catalyst for inclusive growth, sustainable communities, and dignified living for all Batswana.

Since our establishment in the early 1970s, BHC has played a central role in Botswana’s socio-economic development. Over the decades, we have evolved from a traditional housing provider into a modern, enabling property development institution. Today, guided by our renewed strategy, we are accelerating delivery, strengthening partnerships, and reshaping how housing solutions are planned, financed, delivered, and experienced.

Our strategic ambition is clear: To be the leading and enabling provider of housing solutions for dignified lives. To achieve this, our Strategy places strong emphasis on customer-centricity, operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability, ensuring that every home we deliver contributes to stronger communities and national development outcomes.

Our people remain our greatest asset. I am deeply proud of the talented and committed BHC team who bring this strategy to life every day. Their professionalism, passion, and shared sense of purpose enable us not only to meet our mandate, but to continuously raise the standard of excellence in property development.

Sustainability is a cornerstone of our Strategy. We are aligning our programmes with the Government of Botswana’s Agenda, advancing citizen economic empowerment, and integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations across our operations. In doing so, we are building resilience, unlocking opportunities, and creating long-term value for present and future generations.
